It is possible that the resolution your monitor uses, and the flash rate could cause headaches due to stress to the optic nerves. More than likely your problem is due to poor sitting habbits. Here i did a google search for ya, see if this helps.

If your pains do not go away within a couple weeks, i would suggest trying a new monitor, before you throw yours out. If they persist after that, then I’d consider spending less time on the computer, brah.

You _can_ do plyometric style excercises, or even resistance excercises to strengthen the muscles, but by far the best method is just keep riding. If you spend 60-90 minutes in the aerobars 2-3 times per week, you’ll develop the muscles to the point where a 3 hour trip in the bars will not be a problem (with your neck, anyways). I wouldn’t start any strength specific exercise this time of year. If you hurt your neck, you could be off the bike for months.
Wait until this fall when you spend more time riding on the tops and hoods, then do some research into weight training, not just for your neck, but all over conditioning. Pick up “Weight Training For Cyclists” from amazon.com
